My pencil pot would be full of these fun little birds on sticks - if my friends and daughters didn't keep pinching them! They're featured in the Jan/Feb issue of Cloth Paper Scissors if you fancy having a go.
Update: since my CPS article appeared, my birds have acquired some chirpy friends - so cute I had to add links, so have a look. I'll be glad to add more if you let me know.

"Each jeweller is making a collection of jewellery around their chosen theme. Some of the pieces will be one-offs and limited editions, but that in no way means these beautifully crafted pieces of jewellery are out of most peoples budgets. All the jewellery for sale is in the perfect price bracket for presents or little treats to yourself if you just can’t resist the temptation, and you will find it difficult to resist these sparkling delights" (Tara Kirkpatrick for MJN).
